Looks like a very low mileage rifle. That's a great find.
Looking forward to seeing the range report.

Zed ,
Yeah when I found it up for sale I had to add it to my collection. It is low miles for sure . Now I just would like to find a nice No.1 Mk III . The only ammo I have is Sterling vintage 1942 surplus . I was told it will have click - Bang , hang fires , and some duds . I’m a little on the fence about shooting it , was wondering if it would be better to pull it apart and reload it if it’s boxer primed. My LGS had them for $10. / 20 ct . I’m looking for new production ammo honestly. I shoot all my safe Queens , just a little more sparingly on the “low milage” models . Especially since .303 has been hard to come by in the mid-east US lately . I really can’t wait to take it out to the range .  Is the afore mentioned Sterling ammo corrosive primer , or cordite powder ?

PPU is good stuff. It shoots well and the bonus is that the cases are really good for reloading.
even if you don't reload yet; it's worth stock piling your used brass.
Then if you decide to reload; you've already got a good stock of cases.

Please send us a range report when you get the chance.

I'm a little late but Welcome Grizzly - I see you have been treated to the wit and wisdom of the board.  You'll like it here.  Very nice looking rifle, and I also shoot the PPU brand factory loads, and am ready to start some relaoding...soon.  Another adventure courtesy of Lee Enfield!
