Welcome from Paris France.
Not such a "short" list! A nice collection by the look of it. Please post photos and range reports when you get time. Are the shooting ranges open in the Netherlands? We've not had much chance to shoot recently! Zed.

just for the record - we are sticklers for correct nomenclature here ,
you either have a P[pattern] 14 british 303 riifle (possibly a pattern 13) or you have a 3006 M[model] 17 US rifle , there is a big difference here even tho they look identical they are not , its a whole nuther area of collecting that overlaps the two , commonwealth and US , because of US manufacture ,
FWIW the Pattern 13 was only manufactured by vickers for the brits as trials , but the bayonets still wear the P13 designation , the war changed a lot of things , |

Yes the heavy barrel one is a ammunition test rifle. It was used by AI and the dutch army.

I know the difference between those rifle. The P14 also known as No.3 because it is No.3. If we like to use correct terms . No.3 MkI No.3 MkI* or No.3 Mk2. Yes and no. To be fair i own a couple of US model of 1917. As same would like to believe is the correct name. But even the US do have manuals where they use P17 in the name itself or even other countries who used both P14 en us model of 1917 used P17 for short. So telling about correct naming of firearms is only from the view you are watching. US model of 1917 and P17 refer to the same firearm. And are both correct names. See picture below. Manual of rock island arsenal 1943. I might be blind but do the americans call it a P17 here? So if it is used in a restriced manual used by the military then it must be a term they use or have used in that time period. Dont get me wrong us model of 1917 is also used in this manual but stil. I personally don't like that name. ![]() ![]() |

Nope thats the one. Rare as chicken's teeth over here as very few were imported. Incidentally, theres a raging argument going on about the "correct" terminology" for the No3 rifles. One camp swears the P-13, or 14 (Pattern 14) is correct for the rifle in .303 British, but M-14 (model of 1917) is correct for the U.S. 30-06 version. Your manual cover will fan the flames I'm sure! ![]() |
