Hi, All!
I'm brand new to this site, although I'm a veteran of several years on internet forums, and I moderate a couple of other site forums.  I'm an Auto Mechanics teacher at a big high school in Nashville, Tennessee, in my 37th. year of teaching.  Yes, I'm older than dirt!  I'll be retiring from public education in a year or so, and going fulltime with a gunsmithing and racing engine operation at my farm in Lincoln County, Tennessee.

Is anyone gunsmithing the P-14/P-17 rifles?  I have two P-17's, both sporterized, sorry to say, and I'm bidding on some demilled P-14 barreled receivers to use as the basic actions for belted magnum sporters.  I'd appreciate any input from anyone with experience on this action, as I've used Ruger and Mauser actions for mosat of the sporters I've built so far.  Thanks in advance for any comments!
Jerry
