http:////s79.photobucket.com/albums/j139/Bullsquid/  Why are these two scabbards so different?.  They both  house a cruciform bayonet.  Thanks in advance

The picture tha I can see looks like it could be either US made or Mazak. I'm still looking that last one up. Are there any other markings on the body?

No other marking any where that I can see.  One of them is blued on the top and the other is not.  Kinda strange?

the blued one is steel, and the other is more than likely a zinc alloy throat. They were experimenting with different materials to save on needed mats for other things that were more vital to the war effort. There's alot of variants for the spikes and scabbards for them.

Thanks for the reply.  I have two Cruciform #4 Bayonets and scabbards and am going to sell one.  Just wondering why there looked different.  Thanks.
