I would love to have one of those to put on my No1(when I get it!) If even available, probably worth the price of the rifle.

I've just dropped s line to the bloke that is building my No1 Lithgow for me to see if he had any or access to a period era peep site. Knowing full well the cost would be beaucoup!

Looking at Terry Lees rear sight; it has got the BSA stamp on it.  I believe AG Parker and AJ Parker all copies that basic idea of rear sight; but I think BSA was the first. Please correct me if I'm wrong on that.

That's quite a special piece of kit. You would pay a lot less for just the rear sight; such as the AG Parker or BSA No9. I paid about 250 Euros for mine; plus the long screws.

I'm not 100% sure on the A.J.P. / Parker-Hale / B.S.A. thing in its entirety.
A.J.Parker became Parker Hale later on, but I think they actually made the BSA sights for BSA as a subcontractor of some sort.
I just received my early (Bisley camp location before the move) AJP 3-screw variation of the No9G today, there's a post about it. Honks, if you think about a peep contact Scott he has a few at very good prices & sells the mounting kits (hard/impossible to find). Deal with him in complete confidence.

If you're not in a hurry its possible My PH5A may be up for grabs in a while assuming the No9 install & refinish doesn't hit some horrible unforeseen snag.
