Anybody know of any No5 (Jungle Carbine) bayos available? I have one, but need a scabbard for it. I will also like to find another No5 bayo as well though. Not interested in repops (AIM has those I think).

if i recall correctly , the other post you indicate you have a WSC , that would be correct for your rifle , why do you neded another ? i should think a scabbard would suffice - you can get one of those , they are out there , the same one used with the no7 and no9 bayos - neither bayo will fit your rifle but there are folks looking for them , and yes there are scabbards on the loose as well
the left two along side my poole no5 , i have added to the no7 by finding the the one with black grip scales since this photo was taken ,

I dont need another, but not opposed to having another. I not only collect rifles, but also bayos, and sometimes end up with duplicates, or some that I dont have the rifle for. Ill use duplicates as trade stock for something I dont have. but I do need a scabbard for my wsc.

yes , i understand , i have often - multiple times - bought a bayo and then had to find the rifle to go with it ,

im not in anyway criticizing , just being practical in my recommendations , sold my WSC version of the no5 with my BSA no5 rifle years ago now , retained the newer poole bayo an FAZ rifle , im not one to follow in good decisions , ive been missing a lot of what i once owned ,

Awesome. I understand the one with the black handle is pretty rare. I tried to get one of those (red handled) on ebay, but it was snipped from me.  And thanks also because you answered a question I had, which is if the No7 and No9 scabbard is the same as the No5. That would make it easier to find one.

yes all three used the same , as well as the L1 series for the FAL type rifles , it does make the search a little easier ,

I just got a No9 bayonet, scabbard and frog on ebay. I'll use the scabbard and frog for the No5 Bayo, and either sell off the No9 bayo, or just toss it in my bayo collection awaiting the rifle attachment for it, then start it all over again.. lol

Scored a Wikinson Sword Co. No5. bayo. Here it is, and a perfect companion to my Jungle Carbine.

Once in a while they pop up at gun shows here, Rhino. You want me to keep an eye open for one for you?

I have one now, so the need is filled. But that said, I am always on the lookout for others. If I find a different manufacture, or one better, I will always pick it up if my budget allows it.
