he!!o, Starting a no5 build. what year did they begin using stamped trigger guards and also did Fazakerley use an F mark on their trigger guards or something else. I have seen some m47 shirley marks but no F marks on trigger guards.

As far as I know stamped trigger guards were issued at the start of the production run and continued until 1947 final year of production. Those rifles also used lightened sears.
Castles made of sand slip into the sea.....eventually

Having a F stamped into a part such as the trigger guard is more or less a toss up. Either they did or they did not, especially when it came to the,  "wasted" trigger guards.
