Here in Canada at the gun show I went to last week, there were about 20 No.5`s some with metal cap`s. They were priced from $650 for a beat up one to as high as $1100cnd. Now gun shows prices are generally higher than one would expect from of a private sale.
So translated That would be $480-$800 US.
When I got my first one quite a few yrs ago it was $250US
Shop around there seems to be tons of them out there.

Conventional wisdom of the 1980's was that you couldn't hold a zero with a No. 5 under any circumstances.  Perhaps the Interweb now knows better.

The wandering zero is pretty much extinct.
It existed in some rifles. When found they went back for remedial maintenance They were either fixed to eliminate it or sentenced for disposal if they couldn't behave.
Mine is on a par with both of my SMLE's for accuracy.

As for the value check were actually bidding on Gun Broker is going.  I have seen a lot of collectable firearms with a high starting price an no bids of late.  My guess would be  $500 real value

I have shot them all. As wall-hangers in an Enfield Collection, they fill a worthy place. As shooters, your money is better spent on a near relative!
