In all honesty..We did see a big cat (we thought may have been a bobcat or Lynx) @ the top of Rhino's driveway when I was there one time.(& my eyesight was somewhat better then than now!)
But that critter in the trail cam is DEFINATLEY canine..(& your definatley a ALIEN!)

I forgot about that Hoadie !!  But since Im off and away from home working right now, there will be a lot of photos to go through when I get back.... Looks this job in St Rose will be about 10 days , I went into NORCO today to level 4 pump bases and then head over to St Rose, then may have to go to Pascagoula Ms. for a Chevron Refinery and Chem plant Turn around ... hopefully Doobie or Boogie will go check the cameras while Im gone..
I did see a deer on the levee when I got up this morning at 4 am, took my shower and looked out there and it was still out there ..... so I drank my coffee and got my gear together and looked again !! Still there !!!  but when I opened the truck door she bolted off into the swamp !!
So as of now, we have a small Doe in the ice chest that Boogie found, looked like some one hit it on the road in front his house... so we didnt let it go to waist !!  Looks like for road kill jerky this year !!!!

Deer jerky works for me. Deer is great as burgers and in stews. In my house it is called "brown cow".

If God did not want us to eat deer then why did God make them so tasty?

I always end up either adding burger or bacon to venison, its too "dry" as-is.

Try using venison marinated then made into ka-bobs. So tender and delicious!

Tony Chachere's (Out of LA.) has a new line of 30 Minute marinades. One of them is for wild game. We did it with moose. I gotta tell ya, it was GREAT!
They have 'em for Chicken, beef Pork & seafood as well.
They all work really well...& they mean 30 minutes. Longer it sets..stronger it gets.
Ya should check it out.

When I make deer burgers (or moose) I always add some ground pork.
