Finally , after about 8 months of searching I found a scabbard for my LeeMetford P'88 bayo . Cost me $20 more than the bayo but thats okay.
There are some stampings on the back , maybe  somebody can recognize. I'm also under the impression that this scabbard is a homeguard issue , would anybody have any input on that ?

Well...
After abit of research , it appears the scabbard is for a P1903 bayo and is possibly SouthAfrican homeguard issue.
The P1903 and the P1888 has the same style of blade . The P1888 scabbard is very close in appearance to the shortened Indian scabbard but with a squared mouth
However , I do have a P1903 bayo being delivered which is in a P1888 scabbard...so ..I'm still a happy camper about it all.
I'll post picts again of each when the P'03 arrives.
