I was watching a historical youtube video of D-Day to Germany taken by film cameraman Jack Leib and came across a shot of a guard in battle uniform at the gates of Buckingham Palace. This screen capture shows a trooper with a No.4, I believe, Lee Enfield rifle. As I looked closely I noticed that his battle sight looked like it was in the up position. His face is so young....I feel privileged that I have a near exact counterpart sitting in a case in my closet. Took it to the range the other day and fired a few rounds through it. It functioned flawlessly. Still a great rifle after all these years!! Donald.

You can lead a horse to water but a bullet must be lead...

The only thing more glorious to the enduring Lee Enfied is the people that carried them to secure the freedom of Western Civilization... and now the people that humbly carry the torch for this iconic weapon.
