Well, I guess I'm guilty. I have posted only a couple times, I'm new at this. I sent out a reply in response
to one of your members wanting a #3 magazine and I have one I would sell to him at a market price. I also mentioned I have many sets of #3 & #4 wood, some of it brand new and others that are "take offs" but would look ok with a little cosmetic work. I acquired the new wood sets 25 years ago from Victoria Trading in Utah but that may have been "before your time." In any case, I would rather have the wood sets in the hands of Enfield owners rather than sitting in my attic, I no longer have any use for them and I would pass them along to Enfield owners on the forum at very reasonable prices, not those high prices I see on the net. The rules of the forum apparently won't allow me to do this at the present time but it would benefit the members if they were aware of what I have and my willingness to pass it along to those that need it, essentially, I'm doing this for them, not for myself. So, the ball is in your court as to whether or not you are willing to make a concession since it will benefit your members. Thanks for your consideration on this and BTW, I am terrible at this forum stuff, I'm old enough to remember when the first TV sets became available so you can understand why I have issues with all this new electronic stuff. Thanks, Paul in Scottsdale, Arizona a new member of about a week ago. I have no less than 28 Enfields, 6 of them are #4's and the rest are #3's including one 22 trainer with a 4 digit serial #. I am mostly into M1 Garands and converting them into National Match specifications, I have 10 of them, 4 are in 308 ca.

Sorry its an anti SPAM & Troll feature. Once Eric OK your member ship you can post, but the first 20 (IIRC) posts need to be approved. Theres also a block on selling or buying during that time frame because we've had possible members just try to join, post their wares & vanish. I guess thats what you triggered maybe? There's usually someone on here several times a day who does these & the 20 goes by pretty quickly as we're a chatty lot. |

Because the moderators are all volunteers and have family as well, we get to the approvals as soon as we can. Sometimes it takes longer than we like, but we eventually get it done. If your post takes an abnormal amount of time for approval (days rather than hours), feel free to contact me and I'll see what I can do.

Simply put it appears. How long did you have to wait, just so we can get a feel for any problems.?
