I must be totally out of touch with the world today.
I was browsing the interwebs yesterday looking to purchase bullets and primers. Whenever I clicked on the bullet and primer product I requested, I was met with a big fat,"Out Of Stock!." I even tried my local reloading supplier to no avail. I decided to,out of sheer curiosity to check on powder. The majority of the go to powders for the professional paper and steel target killer is currently,"Out Of Stock." I was fortunate to find a small online reloading supplier that had my primers, unfortunately however, the only way to purchase them were to buy the box of 5000 due to the single 100 per and the 1000 per box being currently, "Out Of Stock." The bullet situation was no different.  The 100 and 250 per box could not be found. I did find 500 per box with a 5% increase in price over what I had originally noticed before the KungFlu  showed up. My go to powder is now rationed to only two 1 pound bottles per purchase with only one purchase allowed per 24 hour period.  Am I missing something here and should I be actively stocking up on loaded ammunition and reloading supplies? First I could not find buttwipes. Now, I cannot find a tiny metal cup filled with gun powder.

Your telling us that you never stocked up on powder , primers , projectiles and Ammo when it was plentiful ????
Dont you remember when obama came into office and how hard it was then to get all sorts of ammunition and reloading supplies ?
I remember trying to find primers ... and so I finally got a lead on some and I ordered 5000 !!!!   I still have most of them !! in all sizes , and shotgun ...  I keep them in ammo boxes until needed ! same with all my ammo !!
When I could , I ordered in bulk and stored !!!   Now Im sitting back and watching every one else desperately look for ammo and reloading supplies !!
Oh, I also started buying my powder in kegs , 5 pounds and 6 pound kegs !!!  cheaper than buying by the pound !!

Holy crap, mang.
Do what I did overstock & become your own warehouse. Its the way nowadays I'm afraid & not just with powder, primers & bullets.
I had to buy a beard trimmer I could actually find, not the one I wanted. I'm STILL (4 months later) trying to actually find a hair clipper physically in stock anywhere.

Yes, you must buy when plentiful so you can ride out the droughts.

I try to keep a minimum of 20,000 primers, 15,000 bullets and 100 lbs of powder.

My Varget stock is down to 20 lbs, I’ve started to rationing it.  I’ve been working on loads with IMR 4064, IMR 4895, H4895 and N140 which I have a fair bit of, enough for a few years shooting.

current status of the market has prices souring again , across the board , ive seen handguns double in price - liberals suddenly thinking they need guns ? cant get them at the super market or on the internet as they were led to believe , there are no gunshows right now so they cant find the loophole they were led to believe on there main stream news , never was easy - you need the approvals we all have known about ,

sadly its affected the ammo and components as well , fun part is those of us that have always known have what we need , great part is the crazy cant get that , it will all blow over after the election , but dont expect prices to ever go back to normal , every crisis has its consequences , the industry never allows it to go back to normal - unless we stop buying ,
