These are the last few markings I can`t find any info on.
Do any of you fine gentlemen have any ideas
Location as pictured, top right side of butt socket/wrist.
The F`s look like fazak strikes but why 2?
The M, Maltby, malleable maybe like on the bolt head?
And hard to see in the pic, P.H. Parker Hale, maybe sported by, but the P H appears no where else on the rifle.
I know, 1915, its old and probably put away wet a few times in it`s life, it even saw service in NZ, with a NZ serial No still present, and the bolt force matched to the receiver and barrel, but the above mentioned strikes I have no idea.
Cheers Rick

PH to me would obviously mean Parker Hale.
