I think there are at least two of us here on this forum who have an interest in WWII Reenacting. Would it be possible if more members show an interest in this hobby to have a seperate topic section?, instead of clogging up the bayonet page?...LOL.
Just an idea.

I'm grateful someone else thinks it is a good idea...LOL. I'm always scared to bring up things that someone else might see as "stupid crap"...LOL. Then again, you could have meant good idea of not wasting space on the bayonet page...LOL.

Well I agree it would remove some of the non related information off the bayonet topic. Plus I would like to see some Re-enacting stuff.

Thank you for starting the reenacting section, at the time I thought it was a decent idea, I thought there might be some positive interest. However, I think that it is not attracting much interest at all. Maybe that space could be used for something more important? I have posted a few times and have not had much input or interest. The last post I made was met with less than positive input. Maybe some thought about disbanding that section would be good. Or at least keep it in mind if changes have to made sometime, that section should be the first to go. I'm sorry for being out of control here, I really don't want to make enemies.
Thank you.

I always find the re-enacting interesting.

It must be a North American thing though, you don't really see it over here.

And the snow will cover tracks,

And I'll be watching,

Because I'm hunting you

Virginia Military Institute still has a group of Caydets that do the re-enacting thing. There USED to be a unit with the U.S. Army, that did 1870's Cavalary. They were full time U.S.A. personel-dunno if thats still active or not.
The WWI site outside of Harrisburg PA., has really become popular..but not like WWII has in the last 10 yrs or so.WOW what an explosion of interest/newbies into the hobby!
