Nice! Did you apply the camo on your rifle or did the stock come with it already applied?

It's a composite stock, came that way. It had this stock when I purchased it.

It started life as a jungle carbine. Good to see it still out in the woods and hoepfully putting meat on the table.

It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice!

I am loving the hunting photos.  Ohio doesn’t start gun season till next week.  I hope I’m over this COVID by then.  I’ve watched just about every hunting video on YouTube that I can.  I’ve enjoyed Hunt The Public videos.  Good luck Klondike!  Bring home a nice rack and some freezer meat.

A few weeks ago I was in the Adirondacks mountains
For our northern zone. That opens up earlier.
The second time I went up they had 4" of snow, and it was beautiful

when I was a kid we had a summer place on Sacandoga Lake.  I miss those days.  We spent time near Blue Lake and Ticonderoga.  I loved it there.

Toilet paper is just as important as ammunition! Great photos, love them! I would like to find a composite stock in camo for one of my #5's. I do have the black versions, but the camo with green metal parts are just so hunting!

Canuck. I've cammoed several rifles. I also have done the hardware OD. The fact you have the black composite stock means your 2/3's of the way done already. I take fern fronds, leaves, twigs, anything that looks nice from the yard. I'll lay the stock down, place the above mentioned stuff on the stock and randomly spray a light coat of brown. Then add some more stuff and use green. You'll get the feel of what looks good. I'll then use the fern and apply a light spray of black here and there. You get the shapes of the leaves, etc. Shamu had posted a pic of one of my No4 Bubba's not that long ago. Check out topic "Rifle season starts today." Might give you a few ideas.

As a junior hunter, my father would take us up into Minerva, Warrensburg and Blue mountain lake for our hunts. We loved the Adirondacks but now I am one of the last of the hunters in my family. The TP as a door prop also serves as a ventilator. Been there, done that. Nowadays I spend my hunting season around the farms of Saratoga county where the walking is a bit easier on my back and knees.

never hunted an outpost - that sounds romantic in the true hunting sense , ive often hunted a numbered section or part of someone's 80 acres , its not that different i suppose it just has a different sound to it ,

hope all of you are successful and rewarded in your hunts ,

Iam the last of my hunting party, my last uncle that was my best hunting buddy is 94 years old and in a nursing home. He made his last hunt with me up in Newcomb when he was 87 years old. He's a tuff old farmer.
Now I hunt alone.

Yes, hunting season is just about here. In some areas of the province bow season has started but I have to wait for September first.

so glad to see the enfield still on duty hunting - i would think a different door prop mon the privy might be in order as the weather might affect the usability of that roll of previous paper , we may be seeing another ru on the product soon with the political hype on the new covid crud - yes i think the flue is due again but we cant keep having a pandemic every year that the fue hits - never had that in the ast but i do see the governments liking all the control they seem to be assuming over the anual events of life , soon we will have no freedom at all
