he!!o, I am a new owner of a No4 Mk1 that appears to have too much bolt head over rotation. I was wondering if it is possible to make a shim to go between the bolt head and bolt body to correct this. I've searched the forums and can't find an answer to this. Thank you

Welcome from Phoenix Arizona Aross6.
The simple answer to you question is no,absolutely not. Bolt over rotation is expected with a used rifle to some varying degrees. 15% - 30% over rotation has been observed with no detrimental affects. You may however have either a bolt body that has had the internal threads stretched from excessive over clocking of a worn bolthead. Line the bolthead up with the long locking lug and gently pull and push the bolthead. If it moves back and forth you may need to reexamine the bolt body.
Pictures would really help us in determining what the actual issue is.

Thank you for the rely. I assumed it wasn't possible, however I didn't see any mention so I thought I'd ask. Yes it a RTI Ethiopia rifle. It definitely doesn't live up to the description or the hand select option I paid for.

Thank you for the rely, I greatly appreciate it. I'll post a picture of how much it over rotations. When lining the bolt head up with the long locking lug there is some play back and forth. Pushed back all the way it appears to  rest on the bolt face and not on the threads. There doesn't appear to be a gap unless the bolt head is pulled forward. Thanks
