he!!o all. Bought a "Bubba'd Lee Enfield" as a truck gun for a few hundred dollars a couple years ago. I've ever since yearned for a full wood no1mk3, and I've got one in the mail now after trading a safe queen I never shoot. It's the full wood ishapore smle 1944 to my first Bubba, also an ishy smle 1941. Just wanted to introduce myself, as I've already posted in the reloading section.

Welcome from Atlanta, GA. I was born and grew up in Ontario, joined the military, then moved south when I was about 35 years old.  What part of Canada are you in?

Well, that explains alot. No-wonder you didn't want to disclose where you are...another "prairie dweller" in our midst!
Enfields are an intriguing & curious sort of hobby..will keep you busy a LONG time..just perfect for life on the prairie!!

I lived for two years in “The Duck” (Leduc), just south of Edmonton 1995 - 1997.  Too damn cold.  Moved south.

Hoadie. The beauty of living on the prairies is that you can see a Liberal politician from miles away. That's why we don't have any between Ontario and BC!
