I inletted the Sile stock on the Faux L8A5T to resemble the relief cuts in a No4 forend. After reassembly was done, it was weighed again. For comparison, the Ruger Gunsite Scout Rifle .308 with a 3x9 scope and ten round magazine fitted weighs 7.2 lbs.
The Enfield weighs in at very respectable 6.8 lbs now. I put in for a limited mule deer hunt that runs from December 20th thru to February 15th and I am certain that, I will be using
 the Enfield... |
