Went to a local gun show this weekend here in Melbourne (FL). I would guesstimate it was about 250 tables. Not a single .303 round was to be found on any table. No brass. No bullets. Primers were still in the $125/1000 range. I did see a vendor with Accurate Powder for sale. I Googled the 2495 powder he was offering,, as I have no experience with it, and found several recipes for .303. It was marked $45 a pound, was told he'd let it go for $40 OTD. I passed and kept walking. Maybe in hindsight a mistake. Did see a Maltby No4 Mk1 for $575, nice, but mine was just as clean and I paid only $400.

It was interesting to note that 9mm was being sold by one of the "big boy" vendors at $17/box, and he had a pallet there to sell. Lowest I've seen here in a spell. While I did pick up a ziplock bag of 30 rounds of 7x57 OF Norma brass for $10,, my other "girlfriends", .30-30 and .32-20 were fetching $45 and $75 on the low end for factory ammo respectively (I walked)!

One would think that production would have loosened things up a bit more by now.  I would fully expect the current president to create more emergencies over the remainder of his term. Perhaps then, we will be facing the "new reality" of $2.50 to $4 a round for factory .303 on a permanent basis. 😥

be careful on line - there are a lot of scammers out there right now saying they have ammo and components - check very careful to be certain they are legit dealers

I'll say. I had someone looking for .303 cases. I had some unfired brand spanking new 110 nickel R-P ones I'm probably not going to use any time soon & so I asked him to make any reasonable offer & he could have them.
He offered 30 bucks & I pay shipping.
I simply replied "no thanks".
Now he's all mad claiming I somehow "cheated" him.

your property he was trying to cheat you , things are always worth what a willing buyer will pay a willing seller to part with "their" property , i think you did the fair thing respectfully turning the offer down , he could have countered with a fairer deal ,

A few weeks back, I thought I got lucky, an online retailer called Loaded Firearms listing many primers and all kinds of powder available that no one else has.  Payment could only be made thru Zelle to a personal email.  I told the guy to forget it.

UPDATED.
Thanks for the offers guys,  but they weren't really a "for sale Item" I was just trying to help someone out on another forum & he tried to low-ball & blew the sale.
Bearing in mind the state of things I'll hang on to them for now.
