The lone screw on the left side of the receiver, purpose? No. 4 , mk 1 enfield. Thanks!

Ejector screw to eject un-spent rounds. Very little screw thread was needed to protrude the inner left action wall in order to catch the cartridge upon pulling the bolt rear wards.
