I just finished another faux experimental canvas sniper sling. This time around I used two reproduction Mills Equipment Company slings dated 1944. I did that specifically because an original would have had a 1943 dated M.E. Co. Sling...

I assume the way these are layed out the muzzle would face to the left & you'd' Loop up with your elbow in that sliding central loop somehow?
