One in somewhat better condition sold tonight on gunbroker.  Last bid I saw earlier today on it was $1,000.00.

It’s a very cool piece indeed. It has a #4 .303 mag in it. I have a LB #4 .22 mag that would Be needed to complete the rifle.

this is a Con'D II conversion of an earlier MLM mkII , they were converted in 1912 - the N indicates for the navy , mine is an 1892 made at EFD  , the cutoff and magazine box were removed in the conversion , the conversion marking was placed on the left side of the wrist per photo 1 above , 

someone added thge box mag to catch cases as some later trainers were fitted with them , someone added pone to mine as well 

it is third from left in this photo

No. 2 training rifle magazines had all the internals removed and 22 stamped on the outside.

yes it did - but the ConD II were made without them , both my no2 and my Cno4 also came with them , i think they liked not having to sweep up the brass after a shooting session
