Nice to be on board. I have recently acquired a Longbranch, 5 grove, no4.

I hope to learn a lot more about the rifle from here.

Since your Long Branch No. 4 has a 5 groove barrel, likely been thru the FTR at Fazakerley. Is it a Mk 1/3 (i.e. converted to Mk 2 configuration with trigger pinned to the action body rather than the trigger guard). Or perhaps, a very early Mk I Long Branch still with original barrel?
