The Ching Sling on my No4 Mk2 is getting tired & is ready to retire. I've been toying with a few upgrades to its replacement. I like the Ching concept & the way it works with the Main screw's third sling swivel. I have found one or two things I think I can improve on or add functionality with though. Basically instead of a single strap from the center of the sling to the Main screw I'm going with an actual loop this time. The idea is to give a better "hasty" sling like the original, or use the loop there to make a single point target type sling. I've also added a second limit stop for forward motion of the attachment between the 2 straps (or loops) which should make left side butt up carry easier & more comfortable. I'm still prototyping it out & may reduce or eliminate some of the hardware if it proves unnecessary.
