New member here with an invite from @Shamu, who I met at a camping function from another forum back in 2008. I have a No. 4 Mk 1* that I personally think has a pretty rough barrel. I slugged it today and it measured 0.315" across the rifling (two groove barrel). I have some factory ammo that I'll try through to see what kind of accuracy I get (or don't). I'm just starting into reloading, but this rifle may necessitate reloading for it to get any accuracy. We'll see.
Thanks for the forum and the info I've found so far. Looking forward to finding out more about these rifles and their quirks.

I knew it was a zip code. But that doesn't tell members what area your in. That becomes helpful when conversing with other members-especially when it comes to sharing parts, meeting up & things of that nature. But if you don't want anyone to know where you are - it's your choice.

I didn't realize that is where the location under the avatar came from. I updated it as soon as I saw your post asking about it.

Thanks all.
I've been reading a lot the last few days. I'm going to get a borescope with mirror (or at least a set of mirrors for the camera I have) on the way so I can see what is really going on there. My slug fell out at the 18 inch mark so I don't have a lot of hope for it to be a shooter.

Is the bore-scope a Teslong "100"? If so I may have a spare set of mirrors for you. There were 2 threads used at different times, so its a "maybe" thing.

Shamu, the first endoscope I bought 10-ish years ago is 0.288" / 7.32 mm in diameter. My thought was to get a set of Teslong mirrors but I wasn't sure they would fit as that endoscope is advertised as being 0.2" / 5.08 mm. The mirror set is $20 US on ebay, but I decided to try a scope with a mirror from Amazon for the same $20. It said it was 3.11" / 7.9 mm diameter, so I thought it would fit. The camera fits, but not the threaded-on mirror. For $20, I'll keep it, but I think I'll order a Teslong from either ebay or Amazon unless you think one of the mirrors you have would fit my smaller scope.

I have 2 sets of the mirrors, part of the whole "changed thread" mess.
• Fits .22, .243, .30, .38, .40, and
Larger Caliber Barrels • Compatible with Teslong NTG100 Series
Rifle Borescopes
I can mail them to you to try out & if they don't fit just mail em back. I'll try to post some pics for you.

Thanks for the offer. Can you measure the ID of the threaded portion? If it doesn't match my older one (0.288" / 7.32 mm), no sense in sending them. I bet the camera they fit is smaller than mine.

I’ve got a NTG100H rigid scope I’ve had for 4 years and the mirrors do not fit it! It seems Teslong changed the thread standard for the ones that are currently made. The camera diameter is the same, but thread pitch is different. They only fit the current NTG100 flexible scope.
Shamu and I were trading mirror sets back and fourth to see if we could mix and match, but didn’t work unfortunately.

Sounds like I might as well grab a camera with the mirror(s) so I'm sure they fit then. Thanks for the info.
