I don't know what these sell for but I think I got an OK deal. I think it was UK made sent to Australia but that is only based on a quick search on line. If its not against the rules I was wondering what the value of something like this is, and the history of it. Its a Sanderson and I am not sure of the other marks. Thanks Here is a link to all the photos on Wehrmacht awards forum. I can buy this but need to know the value. Thanks again.  https://www.wehrmacht-awards.com/forums/forum/ken-jasper-international-militaria-forums/british-and-commonwealth-militaria/14717397-1907-pattern-bayonet-info-help

If in South Africa, I could make a good estimate, but values vary from country to country. To give an informed USA- based collector a chance, I suggest you post a full length photo and also record whether the bayonet has a scabbard or not. Likewise whether the grips with their attaching screws are actually missing.

I posted a link to the Wehrmacht awards forum. I am having trouble putting multiple photos up on this site. The bayonet is complete no missing screws no damage with scabbard.

I dunno..the pic shown appears to have the grips missing.
That seems to run contrary to what was said.

Nice date, 3/18.

Looks to be missing grips and screws.

Can not get the posted address to work.

If available at a reasonable local price, probably worthwhile. But, in South Africa, Sandersons are the most common of the lot and I'd be inclined to wait for a better example to turn up. I suppose all depends upon how urgently it is required.

More photos, I figured out the reason they would not upload. Some were not formatted right.

im going to agree , it needs TLC by a very delicate hand and if sharpened its worth less than half at best , the scabbard looks worthwhile tho

ill be honest , ive bought a set like that just to get the scabbard if it was one i needed , but im out of all that now so i shant be making recomendations to others to do what i did ,
