43 grains of Varget under a 150 Hornady makes a very accurate round for my No5.
I got repeated hits on a milk jug sized rock at 200 yards using the battle sights,my eyes are not getting any younger so I think I did ok.

43gns of Varget would be a fairly stiff load . Try dropping it back to 40 0r even 40.8 & see how it goes. Varget is imported from ADI here in Australia where it is marketed as AR2208 & I've had great results useing 40.8 gns . in my #4 Dave |

That load works very well in the No5,but I think I will back it down a bit. Nice to hear from you again Dave....
