The ones I have seen attach to the ejector screw and the saftey screw. Is this catalog ad just a mis print? ------------- I've seen the future and I don't like it. |

| Tony is correct, the picture of the rifle is mirrored, but the picture of the mount is not. I have a B-Square mount for the No. 4 series, and have installed many others, all with great success. And yes, it does use the sight cross pin and the ejector screw holes. The mount actually comes with a replacement ejector screw because the original is not long enough. You may need to do some minor fitting of the mount due to changes from factory to factory, but the mount is made from aluminum so it is quite easy to work with. |

| The mount comes with a replacement sight pin that is held in place by "C" clips on both ends. Sometimes the mount is a little sloppy on the outside of the reciever where the sight pin goes through, and I have shimmed this with washers. Theoretically, the rear sight can be installed under the mount, but in practice I have never been successful doing this. Even if you do install the rear sight, you can't flip it up when the mount is installed, and if your scope has a large objective lens, you may not be able to see past it anyway. |

My Enfield has the WWII sights in place of the traditional flip up adjustable sight rear sight. You say it is sloppy? How sloppy? Would it be enough to affect the accuracy of the rifle? What type of washers do you recomend for shims? ------------- I've seen the future and I don't like it. |

| The "slop" in this area will vary from action to action. Your rifle may have no play at all. Once you install the mount, you will have to look at the amount of play to be taken up and select washers of appropriate thickness. I have, in desparation, made my own with tin snips and an old aluminum pop can. If you don't pay attention to this play, I would think you could have serious accuracy problems, since this area has a great affect on the side to side movement of the mount once it is istalled. Keep in mind that B-Square has designed this mount to fit on basically any No. 4 or No. 5 action, so there has to be tolerance. I have used this mount on No. 4s, No. 5s, and currently have one on my No. 8 and they have worked well every time, once they are fitted. |
