Well what is a guy to do with a synthetic stocked sporterized Lee Enfield but to go all tacticool. You know, collapsible stock, rail system for the laser/red dot sight and forearm grip with thumb activated light swith and room for spare batteries. No. Wait this is for another timeLOL.
I'm just wanting to know of your experiences with DuraCoat finishes and other products because I do have a couple of synthetic stocked sporterized Enfields that I think would look pretty good painted up to match my area for hunting (O.K. the look at me look at me thing wouldn't be to bad either).

Now where did I put that Mall Ninja Firearms ManualLOL.

A friend of mine recently had a durocote job done on his Parkhale Scout.  The general consensus when he told the crew I shoot with was he should be taken out and horsewhipped for even considering it.  The stock was a beautiful stock, however had the odd ding and scratched badly near the sling swivels, also very bright and slippy (in his opinion)  He uses it for deer and wanted it as a working gun.  I have to say it does look good since he's had it durocoted.  As he says it can always be returned to its former glory at a later date.
