Enfield Rifle Membership Patch, I was chatting with Tony the other night, and him and I tossed around the idea of having a Membership patch. We would need to submit designs to be voted on and then find a place to sew them. Just another suggestion Cookie Monster |

Well, there's a few places round here that do it..But I think we might be in for an expensive time unless we able to order in bulk.
GREAT idea !!  Doesn't Enfield have it's own badge( Tudor Crown, round.-I seem to remember something like that)

hoadie, Yes we can incorporate the Enfield coat of arms into are patch. And the price is not to bad if you order in volume. I have had them made for Boy scouts a few times. I think we have to order 144 at a time. Cookie Monster |

CM: With regards to postage..I hope YOUR postal service aint like mine ! They give a whole new meaning to the term "SNAIL MAIL" When I send a small packet to OZ, Allan is about 2 years older by the time it gets there!!
(Canada uses migrating whales to deliver in that part of the world) If we wanna get it there sooner - I can send it on PTERADACTYL Airways - takes forever.Allan would be a fossil by the time it gets there! I still think Enfield Arms patch should be incorporated into it. Tony is probably our best bet for design ideas. Could I suggest the rifles are set in a shield on the front of the shirt and on the back put the front view of an enfield. Ie the sights guard and muzzle so it looks like you are looking down the barrel. We have the mk 1 to mk 4 enfield so why not have em in chronological order horizontally on the shield and your countrys flag as a background within the shield?? I'd be wary of putting a web address Allan there are so many anti gun nuts around they could ruin our fun by wrecking the site. Word of mouth advertising for the site would be a lot safer. Eric has put a lot of work into all this and the antis wouldn't think twice about causing bother. How about the no 1 at the top of the shield with date underneath following through to no 4 mk 2 and end of an era the date they were taken out of commission? Whoops forgot the old enforcer bung that on too. Round bottom of the shield write 303 British so it goes round the curve On the left hand side front have the national flag of whoever is wearing it stars and stripes etc and under the flag the persons name. Hey guys an idea! Over here a lot of guys wear blazers with their army badge on the pocket ! How about checking if we can get some badges made to sew onto blazer pockets or shooting jackets? I'll have a word with a mate of mine who did silver engraving see what it would cost to get some epns badges made. Can't guarantee Nick will be able to sort out any engraving he's still in hospital they had to do open heart surgery on him a valve had packed up.
