What can anyone tell me about a bayonet that has ENFIELD 1876 stamped on the blade near the crosspiece??

Suspect it is a "Khyber Pass Special", or a made up bayonet.  Enfield did not use that type of marking, and the date is way off(too early) for that type of bayonet.  Is it from Afghanistan?

i agree here , that little symbol above the marking is suspect as well ,
