So My wife decided that my MK III* needed a scope as its already a sporterized.
So after picking up a Weaver TO-1 rail which is a drill and tap rail
Now before anyone jumps on me, the rifle was drilled and tapped by its last owner.
and a piar of rings tie my weaver to my new Bushnell Elite 3200 firefly

Next up for this one, is either a nice cheek piece or a synthetic Monte stock ------------- If all else fails call in a MOAB and call it a day |

ya, well I'm really leaning towards to monte carlo stock, but I do kinda like the wood for now. Gonna focus on more range time with it, before i decide. ------------- If all else fails call in a MOAB and call it a day |

I've seen & used several synthetic Monte stocks in the last couple of years on .303's & I must admit to liking them as they really turn the rifle into a true 'Sporter' ! Dave |

Ya, and they are easier on my wife's shoulder too
It's a cleaner look then a cheek pad, and with the added height of the scope mount, I have to have a higher rest.
So really it's comes down to not just an esthetic thing, but a function thing as well.

It's done, I got fed up looking for cheek pads and just ordered my new Ramline stock, should be here Sat'ish.
