So far I have made 3 shots, pretty easy shots at that and have not brought any meat home. I really hate to say it but a scope would have made the difference. My eye sight is just not up to the task any more
 .But I will be out this coming Monday afternoon with the open sighted Enfield sporter (beloved Crusty) one more time before I grab my scoped rifle to get the job done.
