Acquired in 1982/3.  It had a HEAVY walnut stock on it.  with scope and sling and loaded it weighed over 12 lbs.   I reworked stock and reduced weight only 1 1/2 #'S.  It had rabbit ears machined off and it had a head space problem.
Had receiver re-machined even f - r & drilled and tapped for scope bases, re-chambered to remove head space problem.   Been that way since late 1983.  As the "sporterizing" was begun, now I want to finish it.   Got Bell and Carlson carbelite stock (took off another 2 lbs) having rear of receiver re-machined to a more asthetic appearance.  When done it should look excellent and still be a great shooter.  Even with what I have done I am in this thing quite little and I feel it is worth the investment.
