Does anyone here have any experiance with Bear arms stocks? In particular a JC stock? Just want to know how close they are to original.

I'd like to see the JC stock set replicated in laminated wood, and in a synthetic.

The Australian upgraded No.4 action would look good in this configuration.

Personally I prefer the .303 to the .308 so the standard No.4 action is plenty strong for my purposes.

Rather than altering the action radically to accomodate higher pressure ammo types I'd like to see JC clones in some less intense but a bit more versatile chamberings, perhaps 7X30 waters, 6.5X57R, 7X57R, etc. Cartridges that can make good use of lighter bullets.

Pakistan may still have the machinery for producing the No.4 rifle. Exporting newly manufactured actions using the best modern alloys might be worth their while.

While the handmade in a cave Enfield coies can be pretty crude, I've heard no complaints about the Paki government manufactured No.4 rifle.
