hi I'm new to the site and I hope you can help. I have a 1967 2A1 and would like to get a bayonet for it any help would be appreciated .

Theres a guy called the bayonet hunter on i-net.If our folks can't help, he's probly got one.(He aint cheap)

You can always find bayonets on Ebay, some at good prices.

technicaly the pattern 1907 bayonet is correct , but you would most likely prefer one marked to indian production , RFI Rifle Factory , Ishapore / NWR North West Railways @ moghulpura / MIL Metal Industries Lahore in the punjab / or an unidentified factory JU , then you may want to look for one of the distinctive looking ones like a late 40s square pommel and non fullered blade , i personaly think they look nice with the 2A & 2A1 rifle look , BTW these are the 12" version of the P1907  , i think that there were a lot of these sold by SOG lately              hth
