Hi to everyone, I recently acquired the following Lee Enfield accessories:

- Aim Corrector

- Aim Teacher

- Cleaning Guide

I am familiar with the aim corrector but not this type of aim teacher and I do not know on which rifle is the cleaning guide for. They
are all stamped with the Canadian Broad Arrow and the aim corrector is dated 1940. Thanking you in advance and I hope to hear from one
of you soon.

Regards, juno-44Smile

Just  received a 1922 Mk V trial 303. the original rear sight is missing. I know finding an original is impossible...Which Lee-Enfield model or number would be a good replacement...Not interested in a target sight. Anxious to shoot this puppy...Any help would be appreciated.

Addley Precision Inc. has an amazing smith-less scope mount that will use your existing rear battle site location hole and the ejector screw location, it holds the mount in place, does not move, shift. also in there 3rd Gen they have incorporated the use of the 300 yard peep so your able to use your scope or the original 300 yard peep.also it allows you to remove your bolt without having to take off completely or move your mount. very inovative. very nice mount. check them out.

unfortunately there are dimensional differances that preclude mounting other backsights to the mkV , but id say the sight for the no5 is closest [but thats a guess] is there enough parts left to repair ?
might get a reproduction from the enfeild parts place , they make hard to find bits and screws - sorry my link doesnt work anymore since we added the new security system , someone else will post it im sure

OH - and welcome to the site , good luck with your search ,

Hey A Square, I feel for you mate, everytime my computers do a bloody update, I loose something it thinks I don't need.

Thanx Paddy-but the company that sells that stuff(I.M.A.-International Military Antiques) is somewhat LESS than honest, in my opinion & experience.I tried to get one from them before. After being assured that they were white-I ordered one..only to get an "off colour-tan type" sling. They said they gaurantee their stuff..but this wasn't the case.We had a blow-out when I returned it.They were upset because the charges to ship cross border were steep(They had to pay what I had to pay) They said we'd no longer do any biz. That was fine w/me...cuz the stuff WASN'T as advertised, & my $17.95 sling became $70..)Now I see they have a story to go with them("found in the bottom of a box") & wont accept it if you return it cuz its not "white enough".
What a raquet

"....everytime my computers do a bloody update, I loose something it thinks I don't need. ..."

yes indeed , this has been one of the worst so far tho , im looking at getting my own personal computer , i have not needed/wanted to start that rat race so far , and my wife has been on that merry-go-round for well over a decade with her buisness/studio so i have first hand experience with all the $ that seem to get flushed down te terlet with upgrades and new opperating systems and such , but i find this situation intollerable , i had a wish list of purchases that i was slowly filling and now cannot access a bunch of the items ,

i have an outstanding group buy that i was tracking progress on i can no longer access , so i have a good friend watching it for me , as well as some places i monitored for possible large purchases , but its the sites i liked to visit [rimfire central for one ] that i cannot get to anymore that really pi$$ me off

Well Hoadie,

How about bleaching a tan or a blue  sling white? Maybe not. I am unsure on how bleach reacts with brass?

We need a good chemist  to ask on that one.

Hey Hoadie,

How about leaving a sling out in the sun to have the sun bleach it white?

Gentlemen... there are many dedicated sites on which to find the Enfield Rifle Webbing Parade Sling... IMA (International Military Antiques), Ebay, MHA (Military History Workshop), Gunbroker.com, Auctionarms, Sportsmans Guide, Numrich Gun Parts... just to name a few. Blanco works if applied correctly, then it will not stain any clothing. The other alternative is to use a reputable material dye.

Really! I've had quite good dealings with them in the past. Oh well, it goes to show that such company's are not always consistant.

I hope you find your White Sling. What ever you do, do not purchase a White Plastic sling with white metal furnature. Many sellers list these as being for the Enfield....  they are not. These were part of the ancellaries for the 7.62mm SLR.

I'm looking for a MARTINI HENRY bayo & scabbard.(To be honest-I'm not really 100% on what they even look like!)
My buddy Brian wont sell mine back to me...so I figgered I'd find hime the "sticky bits" for it(so when I DO get her back-its all there)
Anyone got the proper skinny on these critters?

this is far too complicated to explain in a single post - there are original MH , modified[bushed down] MH , and sword style MH bayos , you need to know exactly which rifle and go from there

Ayup chaps...

Hoadie, are you still searching for that bayonet, or did you find a suitable item?

If anyone else is searching for a particular British Rifle Bayonet... give me the nod... I can source one for you in the blink of an eye.
