I found an older copy of Gun Digest and there was a phone # for Gibbs. I called it. Well the nice lady I talked to told me that Gibbs has been out of business for 5 years. And I found out that Navy Arms bought Gibbs which explains why the nice lady answering the phone said "Good morning Navy Arms". But the hunt continues for info on making a #4 MK1 into a 45-70 or a 45-90.
