he!!o everyone, another newbie here. I came across this MkII** Short Snider-Enfield rifle while traveling overseas and loved the look and condition of it. Even though there are issues, I like it as is. I got a shady history on the rifle saying that is came from an old cache found somewhere in the Middle Eastern desert without any more specifics. I got it for a good price so I'm not worried with the investment. Several things I noticed after detailed inspection is that this rifle appears to have many original parts and was likely serviced by a gunsmith long ago with period parts. All components have good fitment and seem fully operational. One very interesting thing is that it seems to have a purpose built 3 groove rifled barrel and breach in near perfect condition with very little use. The breach is very clean and the edge lines are mostly unmarred. Also, the story of a long desert storage seems plausible as the stock is dried up and shrunken slightly from the butt plate. I see no markings on the butt plate. The cleaning rod seems different that what it should be with small divets along the length. Here's a test for all of you to see the pics and point out what is legit and what is not. I'd like to think this rifle has some field history and that it was just modified some time ago. I'd appreciate your feedback and can post additional pictures if needed.

Hey guys, I'm new to this and am trying to add the pictures.  So far no luck.  How do I go about uploading pictures that are linked to this post?  I have 20 detail pictures to post.  I'd appreciate the help.
