Last week at the range I was presented with a custom made unit to convert a No4 or No5 Enfield to a fixed magazine. It does fit and sort of works but while I can apprediate the effort I am totally mystified as to why.

Maybe for hunting? Some states only allow five rounds in the rifle. ------------- Always looking for military manuals, Dodge M37 items,books on Berlin Germany, old atlases ( before 1946) , military maps of Scotland. English and Canadian gun parts. |
