Hey guys, new to the forum, and to Lee-Enfields. I recently picked one up and am having a hard time finding anything out about the serial number. It’s marked No.4Mki, with a serial number AZ17981. And there is a 94(maybe a 3) above that.

Any ideas?? Thanks!

The serial number indicates a rifle built by Maltby, probably a '43. Please post some pictures of any markings and the overall rifle. It helps a lot.
