he!!o everyone,

New to this site and Enfields in general! I’m looking for a complete stock set that won’t cost me an arm and a leg. Or even a stock set excluding the butt stock. I can’t seem to find much for sets online, just individual pieces which add up fast

Someone “sporterized” the stock of my newly acquired MkIII and I wanna return it back to its old self Smile

welcome , righteous effort and endevor , the quest is a lot of the satisfaction in the end , do not get impatient or loose hope , this is doable , take your time shop wisely and educate yourself on what you are seeking before buying ,

there are a lot of parted out rifles being sold as individual bits these days - used to be able to get sets but not so much anymore , its not the end of the world just a bigger effort with more challenge to get a good buy ,

i generally look at these things as - i am only doing it once , i will do it right and only spend once , do post what you need someone here might have what you want , be specific and use accurate nomenclature for best results ,

The Stuff you will require is out there, but as you mention, it isn`t getting any cheaper, the law of supply and demand.
More and more people are trying to restore the old sported enfields, myself included, though there is a trend towards reproduction stocks, though not original, I`d use them, only because the wood is fresh and not 100+yrs old.
