Might need a little barrel tension adjustment. But that will have to wait till testing it first.

I hope so Zed but every thing is still closed.

This is where it all started plus the original butt numbered to the receiver.

I had a new in the grease #4 barrel.

Same here; all gun clubs are still closed; so only got the 10m air rifle range that I set up in the garden.

That is  a great idea. I will have to set out some targets today.

I have a nice gas piston .177 I have never tried.

Where I live (Brandon, Mb, Canada) our range never closed. This time of year it may get 6-10 people throughout the day. Training room and refreshment booth are only open during scheduled events. The last two times I've been, I could have swung many dead cats and not hit another human...

................Thumbs Up.............

Thank you gentlemen for the kind comments.

Today I received a copy of the work sheet from Peter Laidler's files on the scope.
Very interesting and colorful descriptions. He replaces every lens and the plantiniod wire and blessed it as perfect. I will share it as soon as I can get it copied. An interesting read.

Everyone have a great and safe week.

Very nice! I noticed that it doesn't have the cheek riser. Were they a later add on to the L-E "T's"?

There are a few sites I can try and check the history of the rifle I just have not gotten to that yet.

I know there are lists of production and history on the fewer in number L42s.

My plate is petty full this week with a few new to me Enfields coming in and making preparations in the hope our fearless state leader will open the ranges.
