Goosic, my Maltby rifle currently wears the Singer sight that you sent me a couple of years ago.
I use the rifle in the Service Rifle standard class; so the better sight is essential. The original is tucked away for safe keeping. The card washer is to stop the oil bottle rattling on the stock bolt I believe. Did your rifle come with the oil bottle and cleaning cord? |

It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice!

Unfortunately it did not come with the oiler or pull through but, I do have period correct items tucked away somewhere. Just cannot remember where they are tucked away at the moment. I have a Singer MkI rear sight and a Lyman 3LE Ivory Bead front sight that I intend to use when I do shoot the rifle. Every little bit helps ya know.

So, your rifle was never stamped with a PP then?

Yes I understand. I was just trying to differentiate between Nazis, Germans, French & the 2 zones.
