Thanks for having me. Old retired guy messing with military guns. Recent addition to the collection is a Savage "US Property" marked No4 Mk1* that has been sporterized at some time in the past. Thankfully there are no scope mount holes and the barrel is untouched. Just the lower forend wood has been shortened and the top wood is missing. Other than that it appears to be all there. I'll be poking around mostly reading and trying to learn for a bit. I couldn't pass it up since I spent my teenage years living in Chicopee MA where this rifle was born. Actually not my first Enfield rifle but the others are a 1853 3 band and an L1A1.
