So I learned something this past month - I thought the indicator of a Savage made mag was the nubs at the back and the split bottom.

Well looking through my mags I found that I have mags with the nubs and ones with a solid bottom and one with a split bottom.

Another guy showed me a Savage mag with no nibs - shown in first pic

I have a Savage mag I’m going to sell it is a solid bottom mag - not
pictured

Cool. I've never seen so many Savage mags in one place! Lol

Where are you going to sell one of them?

I usually sell on eBay as I have much better luck selling their then I do on any of the forums I list in. I do have some Enfield items on two other forums and only sold 2 things - waiting to see how it
goes before I just strictly list items from my collection on eBay.

Just recently sold an original brass stock disk with screw, No4 Enfield size 3 bolt head, New Zealand marked No4 Long Branch spike bayonet, complete original No5 Jungle Carbine stock set and a Cruciform MKI spike bayonet for the No4. A couple of minutes ago I just sold the No4 Enfield size 2 bolt head.

This is one I recently acquired (keeping it ) that has some of the packing paper still attached.

Is a solid bottom and why I bought it.

Was discussed that the solid bottom mags were early made mags then they went to the split bottom somewhere around late 42 early 43
