Got my SKS to the range and got the zero adjusted. It is reasonably accurate and a lot of fun to shoot.
Shoot it prone at 100 and 200 yards, best score  on the SR target was 77/100  1 X-ring.
It seems not to care about  the type of ammo used, it shoots the cheap stuff the same as the premium stuff.
Have a Nice Day
If already having a nice day please disregard

2 here as well, both Russians. One is dead stock, the other has adjustable ghost ring sights, a trigger kit and aftermarket spring loaded firing pin that stops slam fire. Both are housed in hardwood stocks. One had originally a laminate stock but I didn't like how the factory had cut the action reliefs. I had too much fore/aft movement for my liking so I replaced the stock. I shoot mostly Norinco non-corrosive ammo, never a problem, just consistent performance.

i only have my 69 chi-com but its always functioned well and shoots better than i can , as a military rifle ill not hold it up against my M14 type but then it was a great rifle as made and manufactured in the time , i would trust it to perform if called upon - and i have a russian spam can full of ammo in addition to the battle packs ive been shooting , it was a formidable item in viet nam worthy of its reputation ,
