Good day gentleman,
I just want to present my small collection of bayonets that fits the SMLE, or in may case on an Ishapore 2A1. pretty standard P1907 three times an RFI Mk II a nice Owen and a P1903 which doesnt fit.... :( As you can see, iam missing a later model for the Ishi with a square handle. So if anybody have one he dont need... ;) If you want more details or another picture of a specific one, just let me know. |

im interested in knowing more of your 1903 - the scabbard particularly , is the tip metal and how much , the rare one has just a bit of metal tip showing , ive been looking for years - always fun to see if others have had success where i did not ,
nice assortment and well on your way , i once had a bunch of those and i agree you need the square pommel version to round things out , they are out there , should not be hard to find ,

The scabbard from the 1903 looks pretty much like the one from my Owen. I unfortunatly i just have a few low quality pictures.

i believe its a shortened P1907 version - as are most , there were not so many real P1903s that survived to get into collections , i only found one over the years and could not quite purchase it so mine is just like yours ,

Some more Pat. 1903s. Interestingly, the bottom two are converted 1888s, the last by Ishapore. |

he!!o 'Waldschrat'. Nice beginner collection. You've more or less included the whole spectrum of the P1907 Genre.
