he!!o I’m new and I recently picked up this No.1 MK 3 with what I believe is a British RAF roundel. Any information would be greatly appreciated

Its a roundel all right, but not any RAF one I've ever seen. Plus I've never seen a roundel-marked rifle in the RAF either.

I think that's the insignia of Bosnia–Herzegovina! (which is pretty interesting anyway!)

Feel free to correct me but I see a five round Santa Fe magazine and cut down furniture.  Someone looks to have did a sporterized job. Is the front sight  still intact?

Yes I think its sporterised to some extent. Hand guards seem to be gone for starters & as you say a 5-round magazine (maybe Santa Fe?).
Can we get a picture of the whole rifle? It should look pretty much like this (except the rear sight):
